Lordy Pete!! There are only 2 days left before the New Kids take the stage at the Verizon Wireless Music Center in Noblesville and I don't have my tickets yet.
I thought my friend was getting them for all 6 of us and he thought another friend was getting them. Everybody was absolutely FREAKING OUT last night until I made the suggestion we check CircleCityTickets.com to see if anything was available.
WHEW!! I nearly jumped for joy when I saw they had a variety of New Kids on the Block tickets left. Then I freaked again because I didn't have my credit card with me.
I'll be heading home as soon as I finish writing this and I'll order the tickets from CircleCityTickets.com right away. They even have VIP tickets left - not many, but at least the option exists. I think the VIP tix are out of my price range, but if they aren't out of yours I highly suggest you browse over there right away.
See you Sunday the 28th at the Verizon Wireless Music Center in Noblesville.

On August 30, 2009 the Red Bull MotoGP will be held to the delight of many and the surprise of many more. For most people, the Speedway is, and always has been, the home to auto racing. But what they have either forgotten or simply didn't know is that motorcycles were the first racers at the Speedway, and now they have returned.
Motorcycles Came First at Indianapolis Motor Speedway is a great article I found that gives a nice history lesson about the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. I hope lots of people will read it and learn a bit more about why the MotoGP being held in Indy is a wonderful feather in Speedway's cap and will, I hope, become a tradition.
Be sure to get your tickets to this exciting event at CircleCityTickets.com and help this race become part of the tradition of excellent motorsport at the indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Well, TV fans, Jon and Kate Gosselin have officially filed for divorce. The announcement that the whole world saw coming was made on their TV show Jon & Kate Plus 8 on TLC last night. I personally am outraged and irritated at the things said in their individual interviews. They both noted that they do not hate each other because they are the father/mother of their children. They also both mentioned that they are doing what is "best for the kids"... which is a complete oxymoron because what would be best for the kids is for them to see their parents working together to make the marriage work in a loving and respectful way. So, now one of my favorite cable TV shows has lost its luster and I will no longer be interested in watching Kate Plus 8 Plus Jon Spends Some Time With The Kids On The Weekends.

In other devastating television news... Jake the Pilot from The Bachelorette was dumped last night by my not-so-favorite-anymore bachelorette Jillian. Jake was the greatest thing since Jessica Simpson footwear and Jillian let him go! The only positives of this situation is that Jake comes back later in the season to warn Jillian of Wes' evil ways and that he is now available for my best single friend! Now that Jake and Ed are gone, all I have left to root for is Kipton... good luck!
**Since TV is depressing right now, why not buy some concert tickets or baseball tickets from Circle City Tickets and forget your sorrows? Circle City has great seats to concerts all summer long and any major league baseball game you can think of. Unlike the Gosslins and the Bachelorette, we are all about YOU and will not be breaking up with you on television anytime soon!

Jamie Foxx is one the world's hottest stars, having been an Oscar winner and a Grammy winner. Of course these 2 accomplishments don't even take into consideration his rise to fame on television on "In Living Color".
With the release of his newest album and a rise up the charts, Jamie has taken his act on the road with a show called the Intuition Tour. This show will be presented at the Murat Theatre on July 16 at 8:00 pm.
Jamie Foxx tickets are still available for purchase, but there aren't many left. Those that remain are EXCELLENT seats and are certain to go quickly. This tour is the hottest thing on the circuit this summer and is a sure bet for a sell-out.
It is suggested that your purchase your tickets online through CirclCityTickets.com to ensure you get the very best seats in the house. Some of the remaining seats are in the Pit, Orchestra-C, and Balcony Center. Of course there are other seats, but these are the top of the heap and will be nabbed in a hurry.
There are only a few weeks left before Jamie shows up in Indianapolis and you don't want to be caught without a ticket to this incredible hip hop show. You know he'll pull out all of the stops to make sure you get an evening filled with great music and bowls of laughter.
Don't hesitate any longer. Get your tickets today.

There are not many things that I'm sure about, but I am pretty close to positive that nearly ALL of America will be home tonight watching TLC in anticipation of the big announcement on Jon and Kate Plus 8(.... soon to be just Kate Plus 8???). I know I will be! Will Jon stay? Did they really both have affairs? What will happen to the eight precious children that have been unsuspectingly thrown into the stoplight? And don't forget to TiVo The Bachelorette on ABC at the same time. So much drama for one night!

So now that we know you will for sure be staying in this evening, why not head out tomorrow night? Circle City Tickets still has a few tickets left for Chicago with Earth Wind and Fire tomorrow evening at Conseco Fieldhouse. Perhaps you would like to see Gavin DeGraw at the Murat Egyptian room on Wednesday night, or catch an Indianapolis Indians game on Saturday night?

Whatever your choice, Circle City Tickets has a great selection of events this week to keep you on your feet after this lazy Monday of sitting at home watching Jon and Kate Plus 8 and The Bachelorette on TiVo.

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series has been known by many other names in the past. Most recently called the NEXTEL Cup Series, it has also held the monikers Winston Cup, Grand National Series and Strictly Stock Series.
The series consists of 36 races and is run on a point system where points are given according to finishing placement and number of laps lead during each race. This year's leader is Tony Stewart, but Jeff Gordon is only 47 points behind him and the next race is coming up on June 21.
NASCAR fans know that there have only been 2 drivers to win 3 Cup Series Championships in a row. Cale Yarborough did so and just last year Jimmie Johnson won his third and was presented with a check for $7 million. Quite a haul for driving fast and turning left.
There is plenty of information on NASCAR's history: too much to include in a blog. But it would be a good idea to look up a schedule of events in order to purchase NASCAR tickets in advance. These races are held all over the country and fans follow the series whenever possible.

Remember to watch the College World Series this weekend!!
LSU will look to add another National Championship and we will all be surprised if they do not. As has previously been mentioned, LSU Baseball is awesome at a level attained by few teams. LSU begins their quest Saturday at 7pm EST agains Virginia.

Circle City Tickets is getting in the "Geaux Tigers" spririt of the College World Series. For every run that the Tigers score in the CWS, Circle City Tickets will give away one complimentary Indiana Pacers ticket for game during the 2008-2009 season.* Geaux Tigers!
*The tickets have no value as they are for games that have already been played. Regardless, Circle City Tickets would like to give them away if you are interested.

This text was taken from the website of a certain southern football team.
Interesting to note that apparently there is no ban on weapons or guns. Perhaps a large portion of the fan base will come directly from hunting in the woods and thus cannot be expected to not have their guns with them?
Guns and knives ok, but DON"T YOU DARE BRING IN A THERMOS BOTTLE!
At Circle City Tickets, we strongly encourage you to leave your weapons at home even if not directly prohibited by the stadium's policies.

As we near the opening of the College World series, we must ask ourselves the same question that an analyst in the Ole Miss vs. Virginia game asked on air: "Can anyone beat LSU?"
Probably not. Because the Tigers are awesome and awesome wins baseball games.
LSU as won 17 of their past 20 games, including their current rampage of 10 wins a row of Postseason play. Thats not 10 wins in a row agains powder-puff opponents--it is 10 in a row against tournament teams! They won the SEC Tournament, and swept through the NCAA Regional and Super Regional by a combined score of 78-30.

Can anyone beat the Tigers? Or are the Bayou Bengals destined to claim their 6th National Championship?
Despite the fact that several Circle City Tickets employees did not pick LSU to win in their tournament brackets; I still claim the Tigers as the official favorite baseball team of Circle City Tickets.

Its that wonderful time of year when LSU Baseball dominates the world in the NCAA Baseball tournament. The #3 overall seeded (#2 ranked in polls) Bayou Bengals went 3-0 with combined scores of 23-7 in the three games of Regional Play and advanced to face Rice in the Super Regional this weekend. Nice. The Tigers are dominant.

Living in Big Ten land, I must also rejoice not only in the success of the Tigers but also their SEC compatriots, Florida, Mississippi, and Arkansas who also advanced to the Super Regionals. Congrats to the SEC.
It wouldn't be fair to those in Big Ten land here though if I only mentioned the SEC and failed to mention that three Big Ten teams did make it to the tournament: Ohio State, Minnesota, and Indiana. Actually, it would be fair, but they sucked so bad I really want to mention it!
IU promptly lost their first 2 games in the double elimination regional by a combined score of 18-2. Awesome. Minnesota was unlucky in that they drew LSU's regional--so they had no shot. After already having lost once to Baylor 5-0, the Tigers whipped the Gophers 10-3. Two down.
Ohio State is my favorite. Of course there is no love lost between me and OSU, I "sports hate" them. It is perfectly acceptable. Pay close attention to this and remember these are BASEBALL scores--not football (although due to their recent blowouts in big football games one could easily be confused).
Ohio State lost one of their games 24-8 to Georgia. Thats bad. In their final game, they were walloped 37-7 by Florida State. 37-6!! Holy Crap that is amazing!!
In all, if you look just at their losses, Big Ten teams were outscored 94-19! (An average margin of defeat of 12.5 points per loss. By comparison, the SEC averaged a 3.1 run margin of defeat in their losses.)
Overall, the Big Ten went 4-6 in their games. The SEC went 18-9. In fact, if you take out the two weakest SEC teams, the top teams went 17-5 (.772 win pct).
Jump on board and root for LSU in the touranment. You will probably find yourself celebrating at the end!

GEAUX TIGERS!
Circle City Tickets is a proud fan supporter of LSU Baseball.*
*Actually, it's just me. Most of Circle City Tickets employees root for the Big Ten. This blog is a continuing attempt to help them see the light and change their loyalties.

I just found out that Rascal Flatts tickets are still available for their concert at the Verizon Wireless Music Center in Noblesville, IN.
I guess I'm not the only one who thought that Rascal Flatts was going to do their concert at the state fair. But this is just not so. Rascal Flatts is touring the country with their full concert being performed at nationally known venues all over the United States. This weekend they will be performing at the Verizon Wireless Music Center in Noblesville, just a skip northeast of Indy.
This venue used to be known as the Deer Creek Music Center, but was bought by Verizon not too long ago.
There seem to be several tickets still available for lawn seating in addition to VIP and covered seating under the pavilion roof. These tickets will be going quickly, as the concert is less than a week away, and Rascal Flatts is one of the biggest names in country music to date.

Those good folks at Circle City Tickets have created an affiliate program so that everyone now has an opportunity to create a new revenue stream.
Qualified websites are now able to partner with one of the most reputable ticket brokers in the entire industry to generate additional traffic to the Circle City website. Once a company has been approved for the Circle City Tickets affiliate program, they will receive files for text links and banners to post on their own websites. Partners will then earn a commission based on the volume of traffic sent to CircleCityTickets.com through those links and banners.
I'm going to apply today. This is a great opportunity to earn revenue simply by linking to Circle City Tickets' website.
The great thing about Circle City Tickets is that they sell tickets for sporting events, concerts and theatre at any venue anywhere. And you can choose the seats you want right there on the website with the venue maps provided. This is the epitome of customer service, and I can only imagine that they will provide the same high-quality service to their online partners.
Angelo Peduto of CircleCity Tickets says about the affiliate program, "This program has BIG possibilities for everyone." I couldn't agree more.

A ticket broker is someone who buys and sells event tickets. They are helpful when a consumer wants a hard to find ticket such as front row concert seats and sold-out sports events. The prices are set by supply and demand and will almost always be more than the face value. Indianapolis ticket brokers can help find tickets to local events in various venues.
The Conseco Fieldhouse is the number one venue in the NDA for three years running. It is the home of the Indianapolis Pacers and the Indiana Fever. The tickets for this venue include some of the best NBA tickets in the country as they are for the Indiana Pacers. You don't have to miss the experience of being inside this stunning venue even if you are not a basketball fan as it also has some of the biggest music and entertainment acts from around the world, other world profession and amateur sporting events and concerts.
Since 1909 the Indianapolis Motor Speedway has seen some of the worlds best drivers and fastest automobiles. It houses over 650,000 spectators making it the largest and highest-capacity sporting facility in history. Currently, races at the Speedway include the Indianapolis 500, Red Bull Indianapolis GP and the Allstate 400. Inside the venue fans will also find the Hall of Fame Museum and campsites located in the infield and around the over 500 acres.
Indianapolis Raceway Park, recently renamed O'Reilly Raceway Park is another venue to see NASCAR events. It is home to NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series racing, NASCAR Busch Series racing, some drag racing and sprint car racing. Fans can enjoy year round events in this venue with seating for 30,000.
The new home of the Indianapolis Colts, Lucas Oil Stadium opened September 7, 2008. It is one of the best stadiums in the NFL with a high tech retractable roof and the largest video board in the League. The stadium will host NFL football games, NCAA basketball's March Madness Tournament and will be the permanent backup for the Final Four Tournament. The biggest event will be the XLVI Super Bowl held on February 5, 2012. This is an event that is sure to sell out early so contact an Indianapolis ticket broker to find a seat. Other events will include the DCI World Championships, Bands of America Grand National Championship, The Indiana Marching Band State Finals as well as some well known music acts.
The Murat Theater is the home of world class concerts and theater performances. Tickets for events at the Murat have been in high demand since its opening in 1910. The facility had to expand just twelve years after opening due to the overwhelming response for tickets by the community. Events include concerts, family shows, Broadway shows and comedy shows.
Indianapolis ticket brokers can be the best resource in finding tickets for the sold out events fans want to attend. With these venues and the events scheduled for the upcoming year some tickets are sure to be in high demand so buy early.

My mother never understood why my dad would enjoy sitting in front of the television and watch other guys hit a little white ball around a well-groomed golf course, nor does she now know why I like to watch people hit flourescent yellow balls across a tennis net. I guess she doesn't need to understand as long as she doesn't bother me while I'm watching.
I wanted to try and get to Paris for the French Open or to London for Wimbledon, but I just can't justify the expense this year. However, as a qualifying tournament for the US Open, the Indianapois Tennis Championships fit perfectly into my price range for a GREAT tennis fix.
Indianapolis Tennis Championship tickets are available through CircleCityTickets.com for any or every day they are taking place. This year they are being held July 18-26 at, as always. the Indianapolis Tennis Center.
With my knees and feet in the shape they are, the only tennis I get to play these days is on Wii. So, I have to get my live tennis fix vicariously through others. I don't mind sitting in the stands, especially when I can choose the seat I want when buying tickets online at CircleCityTickets.com, the best sports ticket broker I know of.
Get your tickets today and meet me there at the Indianapolis Tennis Championships. Maybe we can make a plan to share expenses for a trip to the US Open over Labor Day.
