Michael Phelps has done what no person has ever done in Olympic competition He won eight, count them! EIGHT GOLD MEDALS! What an accomplishment for the Americans! It is a day that we will not soon forget. A day when all of America on a late summer night in August, all stopped and watched as a young man from our country did what no one has done before! He did it with class. He did it with dignity and respect of the Olympic tradition. But he did it above all things, as a true American and a shinning example of what makes this the greatest country in the world! Way to go Michael and THANK YOU!
