This is the third entry of a series of posts detailing the top-10 reasons why the Indianapolis Colts will dominate the NFL in 2008.  While it seems exceedingly clear to me that the Colts will dominate, apparently there are those out there who are not as adept at perceiving the obvious.

Reason # 3 the Colts will dominate 2008:

The Colts offense will still be the Colts offense, and in case you haven’t noticed, they are awesome.  Peyton Manning will be back.  The all-world receivers will be back (and healthy).  Joseph Addai will be back.  The amazing O-line will have its key components back.   D Clark will be back.  I could go on and on.  Everyone will be back—and better.  Last year’s top draft picks Anthony Gonzalez and Tony Ugoh will be more experienced.

This Colts offense will be so good that not only will Peyton Manning reclaim the season record for Touchdown passes (I’m predicting 70+), Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne will set new records for receiving, and Joseph Addai will shatter the record for rushing touchdowns in a season.  In fact, the Colts offense and defense will dominate so completely that Jim Sorgi will get enough playing time to have a Pro-Bowl season.

As with the defense, the Colts offense will set a record for the amount of players in the Pro Bowl. However, the Colts offense will send a record 12 players—all 11 starters and Jim Sorgi who will beat out Tom Brady for a spot at quarterback.

This offense will set records that will never be touched.  Mark my words.
