What window?
THE WINDOW in Indianapolis. The huge window at the new Lucas Oil Stadium.
It faces north. But don't take my word for it. Buy some Indianapolis Colts tickets from Circle City Tickets and see the stadium with your own eyes!

The 2003 U.S Open Tennis Championship seems like so long ago. Probably not for Roger Federer, who has won every U.S. Open since, but I am sure it does seem like eternity for Andy Roddick. 2003 was the year Roddock hoisted the trophy for his first, and only, major tennis championship.
I like Andy Roddick, of course it is partially becuase he is an American, but I like to watch him play. I really like the way he plays. He hustles, and who doesnt love a HUGE serve and forehand. I have had tickets to several tennis tournaments in sessions where Roddick played. Roddick is a great player to watch in person.
I am hoping this year at the U.S. Open Roddick can regain some of that magic from 2003 and get another major tournament. Of course getting through Nadal, Federer, Djokovic, and others will be a challenge.

I hope he is up to the task. I dont't have U.S. Open tickets, but I will be watching just the same.
I'm rootin' for you Andy.
Let's be completely honest. David Beckham is awesome. Why? I have no idea. But I am fascinated by him. Call it a man-crush if you wish. (Just for clarification, I am NOT saying I find him attractive, but fascinating as a sports figure. It is a HUGE difference.) He is wildly popular worldwide, a tremendous talent at his sport, and just and interesting figure.
Did I watch Beckham playing for England in the World Cup?
Yes.
Do I watch when Beckham's current MLS team is on TV?
Yes.
Do I watch when Beckham is featured on E!?
Absolutely not. I do have boundaries.
I don't know what it is, but I am always drawn in. In fact, I hope to get a few tickets to go WITH MY WIFE to see Beckham play the Columbus Crew, the closest stop the LA Galaxy (Beckham's current team) will have to Indianapolis.
Call it what you want, but I am hooked on watching David Beckham play.
Circle City Tickets can help! Get tickets to see David Beckham and the LA Galaxy at a game near you!
While I do in fact possess a natural talent and fit for the quarterback position in the NFL, the rumors are in fact categorically untrue. I will NOT be starting for the Colts.

While this young girl is devastated by the news, most fans will rejoice.
Great news! Peyton Manning is back and will be starting for the Colts!
Grab the horses, milk the cows, and round up the maidens! Peyton is back!!!

Get your Indianapolis Colts tickets now to see Peyton lead the Colts against the Chicago Bears in the regular season opener at the new Lucas Oil Stadium.
I know you watched the Olympics. Because the Olympics are AWESOME and demanded to be watched. Fact.
I am also going to bet that you were able to catch some of the beach volleyball featring the American teams of Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh winning gold for women and Phil Dalhausser and Todd Rogers winning gold for the men.

Amazing. Look how high Phil Dalhausser is in the picture! Ridiculous. It turns out that beach volleyball is really cool to watch.
Great news. The AVP beach volleyball tour is coming to Indianapolis! Conseco Fieldhouse will be transformed into a sand court for the best beach volleyball players in the world!
Teams will travel on the tour on a rotational basis featuring 2 top mens teams and 2 top womens teams in each city (specifics of which team will play in a certain city are not determined.)
If you enjoyed watching the volleyball in the Olympics you will love seeing it live in Indianapolis. Circle City Tickets has front row tickets on the sand for this event! If you want to be literally on the sand next to some of the best beach volleyball players in the world, get your tickets from Circle City Tickets!

Seriously, do you want to miss this action?

Let's be honest, that episode is hilarious. Ross is laugh out loud hysterically creepy when he hides from Rachel and Phoebe only to jump out and yell "DANGER" to scare them and thus show the value of "unagi."
Ross: Well, of course you can defend yourself from an attack you know is coming. That's not enough. Look, I studied karate for a long time, and there's a concept you should really be familiar with. It's what the Japanese call Unagi.
Rachel: Isn't that a kind of sushi?
Why?
Because Rachel is correct.
Unagi is actually a specialty dish of Japanese freshwater eel, usually grilled.
Yummy.

Let's face it, Circle City Tickets will NEVER sell grilled eel. (Or fried eel, broiled eel, live eel. No type of eel, ever.)
Call Circle City tickets if you need an NBA ticket or Chicago Cubs ticket.
If you want eel....we can't help you.
EVER. NEVER AT ALL.

But we do on occasion actually carry tickets for Slipknot.

How stupid is that?
We must be idiots.
Jennifer Aniston is very attractive.
We don't sell tickets to anything involving Jennifer Aniston.
But we do sell NFL football tickets.
The chances of an asteroid smashing into the earth in a cataclysmic collision are quite slim. Very, very slim.
However, 37 out of 41 Scientists and Astronomers agree that the safest place to be during an asteroid collision is at an Indianapolis Colts game at the new Lucas Oil Stadium.
These two guys agree.

You can NEVER be too safe. Buy your Indianapolis Colts tickets today.
It may just save your life if the earth collides with an asteroid.
THIS IS AWESOME.
THIS IS BORING.
BE AWESOME.

Bummed about no more Olympics? Me too!
But don't fret too much my fellow Olympic fan. Circle City Tickets still has Indianapolis Colts tickets. We even have tickets to a gymnastics event featuring gymnasts from the Olympics!
So go buy yourself a poster of Michael Phelps and then buy a collge football game ticket from Circle City Tickets.
Trust me....it gets better. I hope.
Before these "limpic" games, I would not have considered myself a gymnastics fan in the slightest amount. I am a "real sports" fan. I like football, bruises, and dirt. However, through no fault of my own, I have become somewhat obsessed with watching gymnastics at these games. Maybe it is the Olympic spirit that has consumed me (see my prior post). I am obsessed with the Olympics and gymnastics have captured my interest as much as anything else. Who wouldn't be enthralled with all the drama and excitement this year from the crap of scoring disagreements to the clutch of great performances. It has been exciting. I have been more into than my wife! (Although she is an elementary school teacher who gets up hours before me and can't afford to stay up as late).

For those of you who can't get enough of Nastia, Shawn, and the other gymnasts, there is actually a tour throughout the US following the games featuring these gymnasts. This 2008 Tour of Gymnastics Champions will even be coming to Indianapolis at Conseco Fieldhouse. You can see Nastia Luikin, Shawn Johnson, Shannon Miller, Chellsea Memmel, Indiana's Bridget Sloan, and more women. Among the men will be Paul and Morgan Hamm, Jonathan Horton, Blaine Wilson, etc. Many talented American gymnasts will be here! If you are interested in seeing America's best gymnasts here in Indianapolis, call Circle City Tickets to get your tickets to the 2008 Tour of Gymnastics Champions event!
I have the Olympic bug. I can't get enough of the games this year. However, my obsession with the "limpics" is destroying my health. I am staying up WAY past my bedtime, eating far too many fatty/salty/sweet snack foods the entire time I watch, and stressing out about wanting the USA to dominate the world at absolutely EVERYTHING. It is because of the lack of rest from staying up so late that I can't begin my super-intense workout schedule that I have been meaning to start, and instead I have to sit on the couch all day and night. Life is ROUGH!

I LOVE THE OLYMPICS.
And the lifestyle that watching it has blessed me with.
GO USA!
I believe it was Abraham Lincoln who once said, "The quality of one's soul is directly in proportion to the character of one's favorite sport team." I agree. And quite frankly, I am proud to be an Indianapolis Colts fan. I am a good person and that is why I like the Colts (opposed to my liking the Colts making me a good person). Likewise, I think that people who like the New England Patriots are necessarily flawed in some way (much in the same way Ohio State fans are flawed). Keep this in mind the next time you buy and NFL football ticket. You are not simply "supporting your team." You are exposing your character with your choices of tickets. That is a fact. Go Colts.

It was so exciting and inspiring watching Michael dominate the world in much the same way that Ohio State has been dominated by the SEC the past few years. Michael Phelps is in my opinion the greatest athelete in the world right now, and certainly one of the top atheletes of all-time. I'm sure it was really tough to find tickets to see Phelps swim at the Olympics! If you want to watch a truly great olympian and one of the greatest athletes ever, watch Michael Phelps. If you want to watch REAL football, watch the SEC. The SEC is the Michael Phelps of football. That is a fact. Studies show that 9 out of 10 people who think that the SEC is the Michael Phelps of college football are 98% more awesome than 10 out of 10 people who think otherwise. That is a fact. (In fact, these studies also show that LSU is like the Michael Phelps 200m Butterfly of college football teams--totally dominant.) So get yourself some college football game tickets and go see a real winner like Michael Phelps. Go see the SEC. It's like watching Michael Phelps swim for 8 gold medals only without Michael Phelps actually swimming.
The Indianapolis Tennis Championships and the ATP tour is back in town again this summer in Indy.
Admittedly the field is weaker this year than in previous years. Only one player currently ranked in the ATP tour world rankings top-30 is in the field at this tournament--James Blake (# 8). There is still some compelling and exciting tennis though! I have been out twice to watch evening sessions. In fact the pictures included in this blog were taken from the spectacular front row seats that Circle City Tickets sells for this event. The tournament provides a great chance to see world-class tennis up close. For many sessions you can sit a few rows up from the court for $30! Just last night I watched the always exciting James Blake and the up and coming American Sam Querry in two fun matches.
If you have a free afternoon or evening get out and watch some professional tennis at the Indianapolis Tennis Championships. Despite the relative lack of big-name stars, the tennis is still great! If you want some really great seats, give your local ticket broker Circle City Tickets a call for some great seats!
What has happened to Roger Federer? The once almost unbeatable Swiss tennis star has looked unthinkably average this season. We tennis fans have seen enough.

Some sources report that Federer struggled though a case of Mononucleosis earlier this year which sapped his energy and hampered his play. Other sports writers have mentioned the word "slump." No Way. Rog Fed does not have a slump, EVER. Roger dominates. Other sources floated notions of injuries, ailments, and some people even had the goofishly stupid notion that Roger had lost his edge. Foolishness.
In an effort to understand this unsolved uber-mystery, scholars not from Harvard and Yale
formed a distinquished panel of research specialists drawn from various fields of science (physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, sports science, medicine, phsychology, etc) working together to study the baffling decline in Roger Federer's game in 2008. After months of research, tests, field work, examinations, etc., the committee formed again and published their conclusions. The Results are staggering. The following represents a brief summary of the research and conclusions of the Study, which was recently published in the Journal of Sports Systems and Environmental Affairs.
Roger Federer has struggled in 2008 because of GLOBAL WARMING.

The leading physiscist on the team, Auxford University Theoretical Physicist Wilbert Hulbartware expressed excitement and surprise at the conclusion of the study. "This is the most groundbreaking study I have seen in 20 years. This is right up there with quantum mechanics and the opposable thumbs." Stanfort professor Angie Grahams agreed, adding that while it is exciting, "The conclusion is also a little disconcerting. What else is global warming going affect? First Roger Federer, what is next? Petting zoos? You tell me."
The scientists participating in the study on Roger Federer each concentrated on their particular fields and then meshed the research into a comprensive report that has generated Nobel Prize talk among the experts. Scientist Weekly magazine says that recognition is due considering the amount of cooperation and coordination between so many brilliant minds. Cambritch University Organic Chemist Dooley O'toole agrees. "On a day to day basis these are my competitors but we put aside our scientific grievances and worked together based on a mutual respect for Roger Federer and all that the has done for the world of winners."
The actual research used an understanding of the fact of global warming as its starting point relying heavily on the research of Al Gore.

World respected environmental biologists examined the various factors of global warming and its effects on the environment.
Using the information provided by the Environmental biologists and combining that information with quantum mechanics and other properties of physics, a team of physicists from Auxford and Yell created models showing the effects of global warming on physical properties, specifically regarding heat exchange. See the following charts:

And in conjunction with Mathematicians from M.I.TE. the scientists worked out mathematically this theorem:
The raw information from these graphic illustrations and mathematical computation was then used with a basic understanding of the properties of heat transfer, shown in this example from NASA:
The next phase of the research had Organic Chemists, Moleclular biologists, and Al Gore working towards an understanding of how these environmenal and physical factors affect the living tissues of the body and how it functions. Once scientists understood the chemical components of Roger Federer that make him awesome they were able to then look at how the physical changes in global warming chemically alter his biological makeup. The graphics that follow show the basic elements of molecular chemistry involved in the study.

It was clear that there was a link to changes at the organic level and global warming. Esteemed Johns Hapkins chemist Latimer Dorseye claims a "clear and irrefutable" link between global warming and the organic and molecular world of tennis exists. The next phase of the research involved medical experts testing how the changes at the molecular level affect muscle activity, brain functions, etc. A littany of tests were run at medical research facilities in the U.S. and in London.
Margaret Wallis, M.D., found the results surprising. The changes caused at the molecular level by the chemical instability brougth on by global warming significantly alter a persons ability to dominate at any one thing. Wallis notes, "We are beginning to understand how the human body works in relation to the environment we find ourselves. Now we know what led to Napoleon's defeat at Waterloo, Michael Jordan's failed baseball experiement, and Tiger Woods not winning the Masters tournament this year. Global Warming. It regulates anyone's ability to dominate for too long." However, the study did conclusively find that Global Warming had no effect whatsoever on the New England Patriots historic collapse this past NFL season. That was merely a choke.
There is some good news for those of you not on the ATP tour who enjoy the equally exciting but significantly less lucrative Mario Tennis. The effects of global warming have not yet translated into a dropoff in talent at Mario Tennis. You are safe for now.
Researchers will continue to examine the results of this study for years to better understand the relationship of global warming and dominant winning. While there is a definitive link, researchers have yet to determine the extent and force of the connection. The positive news is that, according to Neurophysicist James E. Hannigan, "the effects are not thought to be permanent." That is great news for Rog Fed fans around the world. He is in no "slump." He is merely suffering one of the many negative effects of global warming that have been brought to our attention recently. This is one more reason to clean up the air and care for our environment. And don't stop buying tennis tickets from your local sports ticket broker. With a little rest and some clean air, we can soon begin to see the Roger Federer that we are all accustomed to and love. The dominant Roger Federer. Winner.

Yeah, that may have been your only shot at seeing Led Zeppelin live, but it isn't your last chance to travel to England for some live entertainment. England is a great city for concerts, sporting events, theater, etc. as well as being a great place to relax, enjoy a vacation, and see some memorable sites.
If you can afford it (I know it is VERY expensive), get over to London and have a great time! London has something for everyone.

If you are a fan of theater, there is no better place on the planet for theater than London. London theater is first rate, and there are many bargains to be found at discount theater booths on the day of the show for those of you who make last minute decisions. If you want great seats you can always order them in advance from a ticket broker, but great seats are nearly always available. I personally reccomend The Phantom of the Opera (spectacular!), but the choices are nearly endless. Theater tickets in London are a great option.

You may want to catch some sports action when you are in London. Obviously what you can see will depend on what time of the year you are in London. You might be lucky enough to catch an NFL game now that the NFL is sending a game to London every year (The NBA will have a game there in October as well). Wimbledon is probably the most famous atheletic event in London and tickets are surprisingly easy to acquire for the first rounds. However, if you are wanting tickets for the later rounds you will probably need a ticket brocker to acquire your Wimbledon tickets.

Another wildly popular sport in London (and indeed of England and Europe) is soccer (as we call it). The English Premier League has popular teams all over England, and London has a few of the popular teams in Arsenal and Chelsea FC. The excitement at a Soccer game in London rivals the wildest atmosphere at an American Football game and the experience will be unforgetable even for those who are only marginally fans. Catching a Premier League game in London would be a great option!

The London concert schedule is loaded with world famous acts at a number of different venues. The O2 Arena is the hottest new venue in London and plays host to the largest acts to hit the city, including the Led Zeppelin show last December. It is a very modern interesting design, and the interior and acoustics are outstanding.

Some of the shows hitting the O2 this year include Celine Dion, Neil Diamond, Michael Buble, James Blunt, Nickelback, etc. If you want to see a popluar show while you are in London (perhaps that is the sole reason for your visit), the chances are that the show will be at the O2.

While the O2 is the most popular concert venue in London, it is by no means the only one. Earls Court (Rod Stewart recently), Wembly Arena (Def Leppard, Matchbox Twenty, Robert Plant and Allison Krauss, etc.) , and Royal Albert Hall (Feist, John Fogarty, etc.), all host major concert events in London. London is the scene of many smaller events with intimate exciting settings. Royal Albert Hall is a particularly fun theater, however due to the small capacity the shows do sell out frequently.

Make sure you go to a Pub or traditional English Restaurant and have a pint and get some great English food. Most of the time the food in the true pubs is less than stellar, but the experience is great. Get something traditionally English like Fish and Chips or Shepherds Pie, and finish it off with some "pudding" for dessert. The English are also known for GREAT roast beef...but don't get it at a pub. Everything comes with peas--accept it. They English are not known for their food like Italians or French, but it has a character of its own nonetheless.

London has a great public transporation system so getting around the city and making to the different sites as well as your big event shouldnt be too much of a challenge. The underground (subway) system is convenient and reliable and the bus system is also reliable. The British railway system is also a great way to see sites outside of London.

And if you get the chance, take a some trips to the areas surrounding London. Easily visited in day are the ruins of Stonehenge and the nearby town of Salisbury, Canterbury, Bath, Cambridge, etc. Stonehenge and Salisbury is a great trip, and I personally reccomend the town of Oxford which is about 30-45 minutes bus ride from London.

Oxford is a BEAUTIFUL city. Walk through the city visiting the various colleges, stroll through the beautiful parks (at their best in spring and early summer), and spend some time in beautiful and historic Radcliffe Square. Make sure you stop and have a drink at the Eagle and Child pub, the favorite stop of JRR Tolkien and C.S. Lewis and their friends when they were were professors at Oxford.

So there you have it. Want to see Celine Dion in London? What to watch The Phantom of the Opera on the original London Stage? Does watching a match in the English Premier League interest you? Have you always wanted to watch the best tennis players in the world at Wimbledon? Stop putting it off! Plan a trip, it will be well worth it and you have memories for a lifetime. And there is no need to learn a new language!! Even better! If you need help acquiring tickets to your big event, Circle City Tickets has experience in providing premium seats to events in Europe.
Make your next vacation unforgetable.
